Netball New Zealand is pleased to announce the 12-player National Development Squad team that will play the Cook Islands national team in a two-match series starting next week in Rarotonga. The team, under the direction of National Development Squad coach Kiri Wills, features a mix of NZ Age Group, Secondary Schools and ANZ Championship players including Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic’s Jamie-Lee Price and SKYCITY Mystics 2016 signings of Holly Fowler, Michaela Sokolich-Beatson and Fa’amu Ioane. They will play two matches against the Cook Islands national team, the Black Pearls, on Tuesday 15 December and Wednesday 16 December at TSA Stadium. The National Development Squad team will depart New Zealand for Rarotonga on Monday 14 December.
