Zonta honours top Canterbury secondary school athletes

Picture
Middleton Grange School's William Stedman won the boys award for most outstanding achievement by a young sportsman with a disability.
The 27th Zonta Secondary Schools Sports Awards dinner was held late last week.

The annual event, initiated by the Zonta Cub of Christchurch South in 1990 to celebrate the sporting achievements of talented young Cantabrians, is a highlight of the year for award winners. Winners were found from 150 nominations (counting teams as one) that were received from 21 schools in the School Sport Canterbury Area, including Kaikoura, North Canterbury and the West Coast.
